Goodbye, my friend.

Almost 5 years ago, I met her. She was there each time we were out drinking after work because we shared the same 'group. We seldom talk, and as I left the company and moved on, we never contacted again.

Barely 6 months ago, I heard from a friend she's sick. Very sick. 3rd stage Cervical Cancer. I read her blog. And found out that she's really positive about her sickness and she wrote really well.

And then 4 months later, the regular entries sort of dwindled and then I saw her brother's entry. 

I knew things weren't going well for her.

On 26 Dec, she passed away. And she's only 30.

I'm glad for her at least she had her last Christmas and was peaceful when she left. She had her family with her.
