I'm now able to identify the right battles to fight, and what to focus. It's the past 1 year of experience and exposure that enabled me to do this (ok, I must admit I'm not so fast, but after all, this is my first experience in senior management!), as well as some very good advise that I really listen this time round.
Frankly, I am a stubborn person. I do not agree unless I'm totally convinced. More so when I'm one who is very strong in lateral thinking and would automatically think all grounds before I agree. This time round though, I'm glad I found someone who is able to provide very insightful views to my situations presented in a way which is very easy for me to comprehend and accept. I treasure this way of communication very much, because I never experience it in my 33 years of life.
I'm really glad that I survived those challenging moments, and emerge stronger to brave the next phase of challenges as the new branch is ready.
I'm excited.
