It seems like a long time ago I heard and saw the Museum but never did lift my foot to step in.
So imagine my excitement when I was finally there.
The Museum is just opposite the carpark entrance of the Raffles Hotel. It's really small - all 5 stories in all (please don't be mistaken by the 5 levels, they are really small).
It has a good collection of toys collected from all over the world (but not really all countries though), with popular toys of different generations, and popular games which were played, like 5 stones, hop-scotch, marbles, etc.
Personally, I'd prefer if there are more introductions about the toys (like the generation the toys were popular in, the costs of the toys, how were they manufactured, etc) rather than simply displaying them in the cabinet with extreme dim lighting.
Pictures say a thousand words.... Pardon the quality. I was using my 3.2 mpx SE phone!
My Favourite Toy - Strawberry Shortcake!
I even had this as my PJ when I was little!
You can actually ride in this!
I recalled riding a similar one when I was younger.
I played this with the boys in Primary School.
Besides these, I also played zero-point, rubber and caught tadpoles!!
