Here's my conclusion: CONFUSING.
Entrance towards the parking is tucked in one corner and signs weren't clear. The windy ramp up the car park starting from level 5 is very wide, but the white colour of the walls by the side is white and not marked well. Upon reaching level 5, scratches by the wall are visible - an evident that the corner is way too sharp for some drivers.
Parking lots are not as neatly marked - one has to turn round the corners (and many of them) to find a parking lot.
While exit signs are prominent, it is not timely marked. Its arrow which accompanies the OUT sign is placed before the exit and this can be confusing for some.
Overall, the feeling of driving into Ion is not 'luxurious' either, despite observing Valet Parking services at the car park.
My favorite is still Ngee Ann City Parking at basement. Its high ceiling and sufficient lighting makes one feel safe. Driving directions are very clear and one-directional, no hidden corners!
