Cool Down

Cool down everyone. This is getting out of hand.

My blog is a place to share my views and if you don't agree, you can don't read them.

I've received many personal attacks all because of my initial blog entry about the recent financial saga. I've wrote a neutral entry and nonetheless still got slammed. I'm upset because all these irrational arguments are not started from me. I had to correct those comments which were either written as a result of a misunderstanding, or that they were written out of context. And yet I got slammed for doing so.

And when people start to get personal despite my guests rules on the left, I get slammed for rebuking too.

But this is my personal blog you know and I'd tried to keep the entries as neutral as possible.  I didn't go around starting a fire!

Guess that's life - people will, forever, choose to respond base on their personal preference and not look at things in total perspective.

What matters to me are my good friends and love ones who are around for me, and knowing who I am as a person.

Thanks to those readers who've been nice! For those nasty ones, whether I am an adult acting like a 18 year-old or a kampong girl with a chinese background hiding behind my branded lifestyle, I don't blame you making such remarks, because you do not know me as a person.

Those people who made such comments only shows their how ignorant they are. Why comment things like that when we should be limiting our comments to the contents of the blog entry? We stepped into the blog of someone as a guest, I think we should maintain basic courtesy to behave. LuxeLass has the right to maintain discipline since she is the host.

Do we step into people's house and hurl comments at the host when we hear something we don't like? We don't right? Just because we can hide from our actual identity does not mean that we have no responsibility with what we write.

No one knows how extensive the harm of the comments can be to the person.

Hello Loraine. Thanks for your comments. After some reflection, I think I've been used as a punching bag for the public and I can understand their frustrations because money is really a very emotional issue to us.

It's ok. I'm sure there are fair people in this world who sees both sides of things. Not healthy to keep dwelling on this. Let us move on. =)

I wanted to post my views earlier until I saw this latest entry and I feel that it's so strange how these recent posts attracted so much attention whereas no one really bothers abt other topics you/we/bloggers in general may have touched on.

Probably so becos it is one of the hottest topic right now when it is also a sensitive topic to touch on and thus emitted so much sparks from many. No doubt seeing all those anonymous comments does piss me off even tho I aint working in the bank. Everyone has their rights to say what they want, so do you, so do I.

As for others who cant really express themselves well thru proper words, all I can say is, empty vessels make the most noise....*ear plug please, TANK (thank) KIEW (you)*
