But then there comes another issue. Something which I've been wanting to say for a long time.
That the designer bag on their body just doesn't match with everything else they carry - from their face to their shoes.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not being prejudice here on looks or figure - that slim, pretty-faced are the only ones who own the right to carry an LV, Loewe, Chanel or an Hermes. I'm talking about dress sense here.
Be observant and see. Most likely you will see one wearing a cheap dress, with bra-strap showing with some cheap, worn out shoes (and worse, poorly done pedicure, chipped nails or non at all!) strolling in their Bag. And suddenly, the bag does stand out, but all for the wrong reason.
One doesn't have to wear all designer from top to toe, but at least your dressing should be sleek, neat and chic. At least, well, as least, it must be of a reasonable fit, and a strapless bra when you know it's going to show (not everyone can carry off a showing bra-strap well, for that matter). The same goes for your footwear. If your shoes are dirty, go clean it and if the heels are making noise, go fix it!
It's not about how much you spend. It's about how smart you manage to pick up pieces to wear (best if it is cheap but doesn't look like it!), in the fit and colour that suits you, and the spending the time to ensure the toes that stick out are nicely painted, hair in place, and you look clean and neat.
And oh yes, some make-up please.
