I used to love Prada very much, and then Sean introduced me to LV when we first got together. I knew about LV, but always thought it was kind of oldish. But when I got my first LV handbag in Epi Red, there was no turning back. Epi range got upgraded to Suhali in cream, and slowly, everything I was carrying was a LV. Not that I purposely bought them, but somehow, I ended up buying them - bags, accessories, organiser, even their shoes.
Then in our recent Europe trip, I hopped into Hermes and introduced Sean (my turn!) the world. And because Kelvin, our photographer, was tasked to get a Birkin by his friend, Sean learned even more on Hermes.
So one thing led to another, and I ended up getting a small pouch in mixed material at the St Honore Store, and then their 90cm Silk Scarf with scarf ring in Nice, all these to satisfy my graving since I didn't manage to get one birkin. And while I drooled over the dream of getting my dream Birkin materialized (the one available was a brown 30 which I didn't like), my kind Sean decided to satisfy my graving with a white Lindy instead (he's really lovely!). It was never my intention to get a Lindy, although I kind of find it unique in its design, not to say one in white. But when being 'coerced' into such a situation, I decided, within hours, that I would get one, and one in 30, in white. And a Lindy.
When we returned, I took it out from the box and contemplated whether to use it or not. Greed (yes, I call it greed cos I am so greedy to use another bag for work when I already have lots) crept into me, and I used it - for 2 weeks. It's now back into its dustbag because I just can't bare the thoughts of exposing it to dirt because it's just so pure in white.
As it's lying on my cupboard, I'm still learning more about Hermes from the fans worldwide. So now.. my love is directed towards Hermes. Sorry LV, not that I don't love you anymore, I just feel that you are becoming more common.
