At 730am, we set off for our shoots at Sault from Avignon. It is 2 hours away from Avignon, and here all the nice Lavenders and Sun Flowers are.
Pity that the lavenders were already harvested in Jul/early August. Along the way, there were also many dried sun flowers left in the field and it was saddening view.
Wild Berries.
Harvested Lavender Fields
Nonetheless we managed to take many nice pictures and stopped by the Lavender Museum for real lavender shopping. Because I was in my gown, I couldn't join them. Sean bought me whatever he could find in Lavender. The 500cc Lavender Essence was madness. Jac bought a 1litre one!

Fresh Lavender!
I'm seriously considering returning to Sault next year in July for the lavenders. I know Hokkaido and Perth have it, but seriously I believe Provence's one is the best. They contribute the main bulk of Lavender business of the world!
Avignon
After Eight Mint Gelato. It's really good! More interiors of the hotel in Avignon
After the shoots, we returned to Avignon and did some centre-hopping. We had pretty decent meal (plus our picture here showing us holding up the 1 litre cola). And then it was exploring time once more.
Hermes appeared in front of our eyes (by the way, there is no LV or Prada in Avignon but Hermes) and as we walked past it, I joked about the store having Birkin since Avignon is so laid-back. After lunch, we decided to go into the store and I tried my luck again. I was upfront and asked "Excusez moi do you have a birkin" (Yes, I know I sound desperate and I didn't want to waste anymore time!). The sales person replied "What colour are you looking for?".
As my heart fluttered, the only available colour was only brown. It's in a good size 30, but the colour was old for my preference and so I didn't buy it. After all, I've been waiting for 3 years, I only want the right colour in the right size.
Our photographer was thrilled as his friend had also given him the same task to buy one for her. And so she did get that Birkin in the end.
Voila! One more birkin gone from Europe.
