Nice Cote d'Azur

3 hours of train journey from Avignon brought us to Nice. It's the last station of the entire Cote d'Azure stretch, including Antibes and Cannes.

Nice is an entire beach haven, with selections of private and public beaches. Private beaches request a 17-euros fee where they provide beach chairs and towels in a condoned area while the public ones are just what you see - pebbles and people.

The feel in Nice reminds me of Bali - tourists and many beachwear shops.

Sean was most thrilled with the pebbles (and some sand), sun and sea and dashed to enjoy his sun bathing while me and our Photographer Kelvin decided to check out the Nice Centre. Alot more shops, but unfortunately both of us agreed it's a not a place for photo-taking.

And so shopping we did. Managed to sneak into Zara (their crowds are no less than hours), Virgin, Sephora and Galeries Lafayette (both of which I missed while in Paris). Zara isn't exactly cheaper than Singapore, the crowds as big, but their selection is wider than in Singapore. Wait till I try out their other stores!

Basking is very common in whole of Europe. I felt sorry for the kid and decided to drop some tips. Imagine working together with the mother. But then again, it might have been a plot to stir our compassion.
H&M - where Sean also went crazy. We had to wait for him!
