I never thought it was possible, or that I'd be motivated to slim down.
Until 3 weeks ago, when I suddenly realised the outcome of a bet with my 3 colleagues would arrive soon, that I popped down to ORQ Fitness First to check out their Kinesis Program.
And there I was, signed up with 11 sessions program, and felt cheated and most unwilling to be tied down for gym session every alternate days.
The initial sessions were hell. I grumbled alot, got angry while rushing to the gym, felt that everything was a burden, and training was tough. I constantly changed my training timing, and was not committed.
I was frustrated with myself changing the time ever so often and wasting my coach's time, that I decided to set a timetable for myself. Since then, I've been diligently going for my personal training sessions, even on a Saturday morning at 10am.
What motivates me even more are the many compliments (I see it as compliments, but they are purely comments, actually) about me looking slimmer and more toned. My clothes are becoming not as fit as they used to be, and behold! I fit an XS!
Of course, credit also goes to my female instructor Lydia who made every session different and interesting. So it was never boring.
And now I finally dare to wear that sleeveless fitting gym gear which I shunned for the longest time. Even out of the gym wearing it, after my work out!
The miracle of training, and the miracle of Madonna and Sarah Jessica Parker. I adore their tone muscles.
