And so there was a slap.
An expensive slap.
A $100K slap.
A criminal slap.
And an Air Stewardess.
In my opinion, I believe it's more than meets the eye that causes The Slap.
Air Stewardess - I've heard some common reasons why girls want to be an Air Stewardess.
"I want to see the world / I want the exposure - FREE OF CHARGE "(maybe cause I do not think I can well afford it myself, or because I just simply love to serve strangers, including washing toilets).
"I hope to get into serving the Business / First Class Passengers, hopefully I can get to know some big shots." (and I pray hard that I will get to know them at an intimate level.)
Let me make myself clear. I do not have feud with any particular Air Stewardess. Each time I'm on business trips, they are my best nannies, although they may not be as good as I'd want them to be. I do feel sorry for these girls. Call them naive, or having the 'wrong' reasons for getting into a job, but while they gain the exposure, what value have they gained from their years of flying to mould a career out of it?
Just how many of them would eventually move up the ranks and be the movers and shakers of the aviation industry?
I know many of them, after years of flying, have no where to go, and to start all over again in their career.
Perhaps their poise from their years of training do make them a more polished person.. (but for?!) Perhaps their experience trains them to be more confident (as a?).
Actually the same goes for modeling.
Sometimes, I just wish girls have a little more dignity in choosing what they do and not go for short cuts.
Ed: But thanks to this groups of girls, I get to be pampered in the air! But perhaps not as good as the Towkays in First Class! Ha!
