So I went to Pearl's dinner today.
We've been doing this for 3rd year in a row.
It is as usual, a private, small cosy affair, with Gine and supposedly Tanny, but this time there's her beau and another lovely couple and their little baby Paula. A pity Tanny couldn't make it this time round.
This Christmas Dinner is different from the past. We would always gather in Pearl's place for dinner, and she prepares all of it. This time, it's her beau who prepared everything. Turkey, salad, everything was good. And the Sangria prepared by their friend & Pearl. Ambience was great, with the nice vocals on Christmas songs in the background... I've always love Pearl's taste.
Gift exchange time. I got Pearl's - lovely cup with matching coaster. Gine got my THE SECRET - hopefully she likes it, a very useful book, in my personal opinion, and Pearl got Gine's lovely dangling earrings (Pearl, please go get your ear lobes pierced! Conrad shall go with you and get his done too!).
We had a nice chat after dinner, with freshly brewed coffee and logcake. The Sangria somehow made me sleepy... and we had to excuse ourselves for the night.
Oh by the way, little Paula is really a cute baby... and not forgetting the naughty Raindrop who turned silly and tried to bite me thrice in a row that night! And for the rest of you, wait for my Sangria!! *Hic*
