I never believed in good skin care. My healthy skin was 'good enough' and I was only happy with a cleanser (note: no make-up remover!) and a moisturiser. I didn't even use sun block!
I only started to stop taking my skin's health for granted after it fell victim to the harsh environment of the cold countries and the dry air in the cabin. I've tried several good brands in the market, but I swear by Sisley. Really!
So now I'm a sucker for good facial care. Nothing beats fresh, glowing face. No amount of the best cosmetics would be good enough to cover your face to give that fresh clean face!
For friends who've asked what I've been using, let me share with you what I've been using so far by Sisley:-
Cleanser / Make-Up Remover
- Phyto Blanc Facial Cleanser - whitening
- Cleansing Milk with Sage for Normal / Combi Skin
Masks
- Express Flower Gel Mask - Hydration booster! I use this every night when I'm overseas, esp in dry weather. You sleep in it!
- Facial Mask Linden Blossom - this detoxifies your skin, even the eye area!
- Radiant Glow Express Mask - Gives your skin that glow, just apply for 3 mins!
Moisturisers
- Ecological Compound - a booster for your favourite moistueriser
- HydraGlobal - for those with dehydrated skin
- Neck Cream (Yes, for those who're getting on with age.. But I'm only trying the sample for now.)
Toner
- Floral toning lotion
Facial Exfoliators
- Phyto-Blanc Daily Scrub - whitening scrub, use every morning
- Gentle Facial Buffing Cream - use before my mask
Yes, I use all of them. I now diligently remove my eye make-up with another remover, then remove my make-up, and double cleanse with another cleanser. In the morning, I use a separate daily scrub to get rid of the dead skin cells.
And I now do masks every week after I scrub it nicely with the buffing cream.
What I also love is their excellent personalised service, no pressure selling tactic, their facial cabin @ Taka, and also they dish out samples for you to try if you aren't ready to buy one yet!
Remember, I was never this 'ai swee', so don't take your skin for granted!
PS: Their new eye masks will arrive in Nov! Can't wait to try!
