Dempsey House

Ok, so I finally decide to try it out at Dempsey House. And found my way there. Remember the previous two trips weren't too impressive and I gave it all up?

The whole stretch of 100m of level two is the haven for spa treatments. I tried their House Proud massage, a massage based on Chinese Tui Na to improve blood circulation. Sean did one based on Yoga technique, and later told me the stretching did kill him abit. Ha!

Overall ambience is average, with simple decorations in plain grey cement, carpets, and cosy sofas upholstered in different fabric prints.

Treatment rooms were furnished like a mini hotel room, with a mobile cupboard for guests to put their personal belongings in.

What was disappointing was the atmosphere. Just thought the music from the cafe downstairs should have been softer. It was clearly audible and it just didn't mix with the music in the treatment room. The lush greenery is visible, but a pity the curtain was drawn due to the strong sunlight into the room.

Overall, not too bad. We got a package, and I shall be trying their nail & facial services soon.
