At my age, I expect to be someone who is doing what she is doing, and doing it really well.
It was unfortunate that my career came to a standstill because of some very irresponsible scheming people and my own negligence, that I am where I am today.
If one were to look at it positively, being in where I am now is actually not a standstill. After all, it is often dependent on how one looks at the situation to turn things around to his advantage. For me, I'm still learning.
Magazines and Papers feature so many successful people around my age (some even younger!) in Singapore. It doesn't matter if they are earning alot of money, it was their success in what they are doing that strikes me. Jane Lee, a successful mountain-climber who is featured in todays' Sunday Times, for example is one such example.
I have my fair share of success in the past, where I was really good in what I was doing and enjoyed every minute of it. I want to bring that back.
The thing is, right now, I do not know what will ignite my passion to make me a successful person again.
