Human beings are funny.
I've learnt, from my personal experience, that in general, human beings take things for granted. More so when people who give have been easy-going, do not have any strong preference over things, and are understanding.
People who are very strong in character normally have friends around them who give in to them constantly. There are, however, occasions when people complain about them being unappreciative. Their love relationship is also often of a partner who gives in to them too. They are commonly known as the 'takers'.
I know I'm a giver, not that I am weak. It's just that I like to care for the one I love. However, I'd certainly like to have times when I can be spoilt or have things insisted my way, or have someone giving in to me too, just for a change.
The feeling of taken for granted is no good and I'm not very happy about it.
If takers can learn to appreciate the kindness and love of others, wouldn't they be encouraging others to give more for the themselves to enjoy? Wouldn't it be a best outcome in all relationships?
In fact, I found who appreciates me very much but now he's changed...
After all, one basic motivational factor is recognition. No?
