I never bothered about gardening. Or rather, occasionally whenever I have the mood for it. The plants in the mini garden of my previous place were often watered naturally since they were always outdoor and the frequent rain helped.
Not until I moved.
Now I've moved some of them over to my new place. There is no garden and no more outdoor natural gardening. I used to forget to water them often and the leaves started turning dry. I remember when I first moved them here, the Mandarin Orange plant dropped almost all of its leaves and I got a little worried. In the Chinese culture, Mandarin Orange plants are often seen during Chinese New Year and is a sign of prosperity and luck. While I am not the most superstitious person, like anyone else, some signs of good fortune when one moves to a new place is always welcomed.
Weeks later, the plant adapted itself well to its new surrounding. And I also picked up the habit of watering them in the morning. What's most encouraging was noticing that the plant is flowering, and bearing fruits!
