Black Thursday

Yesterday was a black black day. Nothing good happened throughout.

First was The Meeting with The Man, got squeezed to a corner, and realized I'm actually in-charge of so many things I'd never knew (or employed for!). Suddenly, I'm suppose to be pushing for products launches and work out marketing plans. Very good indeed. I'm now pseudo Retail Banking Head (minus the salary that is)!

It was followed by a short luncheon to know of some very shocking news, and further reinforcement that my decision to end it is correct.

The later part of the day was some disappointment by my very own trusted staff, who channelled his frustrations with his fellow team mates on me! That's the price to pay when I'm too nice as a boss.

What was only good on Thursday was an email confirmation I received about the outcome of my funds, which is still a blessing.

Glad that Thursday is over. Friday's going to be my work-from-home day, with some very interesting things happening today. Can't wait!
