The first time I came across the Japanese brand DHC was in Hong Kong.
It's similiar to the popular Fancl in Singapore, except that the ingredients are different.
So now DHC arrives in Singapore, not in the form of a stand alone boutique, but through Watsons.
Watsons do not carry it's entire range, but the basic popular selections. Apparently, review on its eyelash serum is so good that I couldn't resist buying it when I chanced upon it!
One of its ingredient Placenta bowled me over!

eeeee! gross! u use comestics with placenta in it??? These placentas are from women who've given birth or went thru a abortion u know?
My dear.. I did a check and asked DHC. Answer is it is from Pigs. Established companies usually use pigs or Sheeps (esp in NZ or Aus for sheeps). There are also Placental masks also. They are really effective. But for the more unorthodox brands, I don't know la. Check out my lastest entry on this!
But thanks for raising this. Otherwise I wouldn't really bother to check as I've always been taking it for granted!
er i just watched this documentary alot of these cosmetic brands use human placenta and these are the "established" brands because only human placentas are effective in cells regeneration.
Anyway, even if there're pigs or sheeps placentas isn't that like still gross!
Er sorry but i can't imagine putting this kinda stuff on my face.
