This morning after sending off Mr Goh, I popped by the nearest market to buy my breakfast. It's surprising that many stalls are not open and that includes my favourite Minced Pork Noodle and Cha Tao Kway stalls.
So leaving with no option, I went to the Nasi Lemak stall and decided to try it.
As the lady was putting an egg into the box, part of the egg dropped on the table and she picked it up and..... put it right back into my box! I looked in horror but didn't stopped her since I thought it's cheap breakfast, what can I expect (but now I feel that I should have exerted my rights - there is no price tag to hygiene).
The Nasi Lemak is the lousiest I've ever eaten! The rice tasted rubbery with no coconut taste, fish was oily and the otak was simply tasteless! And in the end, as much as I didn't want to be wasteful, I gave up and threw it away.
This stall is at the Redhill Market, selling economic beehoon and nasi lemak (for $2). The ladies there all wear red polo T. Wait till the next time when I manage to get a shot of the stall, this is as good a description I can offer.

I know this sounded lame. But not having that nasi lemak for nearly 4 years now, just looking at the picture makes my mouth water :P
Do you know how to make one? Is it an indonesian dish or a malay dish?
