Since I am not sure if I'd manage to go Europe this month, I decided to just get my first Goyard from Hong Kong. It was small regret I had that I missed it while at St Honore in Paris because I was busy looking for the Jimmy Choo Bridal collections and Hermes.It was fated to be. We stopped at Tsim Sha Tsui meant to catch the Star Ferry to HK Island and the word "The Peninsula" popped right in front of me when I looked at the directory.
The Hotel's on its way to the Pier, and it was definitely convenient for me to walk into Goyard.
Selection is limited, and they do not have the St Louis in MM (all sold out), and so I got the Fidji Shopping Tote in White - which is also a good (in fact better) alternative. It's equivalent of a Hobo, with it's typical Goyard Print all over, with the base in white. Definitely a more secured bag compared to the St Louis tote since it's zipped up.
It's been a long time I'm excited over a bag and can't bring myself to open it up after it's been wrapped and stored in the paper carrier (Ok, I admit. The last time wasn't not too long ago. The last time was my Hermes Lindy when Sean got it for me in Nice and it was only in Aug last year).
I can't wait to use it soon.

Hi i've read your post....just wondering why did you choose white color goyard fidgi? is it because its the only available color that time? what are the other colors available during your trip thanks/
Hello Myra. White is a great colour. My Lindy is also in white. It's easy to maintain as it's water resistant. And easy to match!
There are other colours - White, Pink, Orange and Blue.
But of course, if you have the time to go to Europe, it's even better. Their choices are much better. =)
Hi again....can you help me with your suggestion...i am planning also to buy my first Goyard fidgi hobo...however i cannot decide which color i'm going to get...its between white (my first choice) and the orange one. My friend (who has 3 goyard bags already) advised me to buy the orange instead because if white color may not be suitable to use everyday because of the color "white" easily gets dirty....what do you think....can i get your comment on this.....I'll be using and keeping it in the long run....:)

I suggest the white one because it is a good alternative to black and it's easy to match with anything. It also brightens up your attire.
I almost bought my Hermes Lindy in Orange but decided on white instead because the colour is really too difficult to match. Imagine wearing it with red!
But of course, if your clothes are normally of light-coloured hues (or even black), then a bright colour like Orange is good choice. Not to forget what are the existing colours of your bags!
Goyard Orange isn't very appealing to me because the paint works is in black. And I don't like the overall combi - very dirty-looking.
For white, I just got my first stain from my denims. today! But because it's water-resistant, it's easier to clean. After all, the Fidji is a relaxing style bag, I don't think a little bit of dirt will make it look ugly.
