I was prepared to fork out whatever it takes to be there, so long as I get one with aircon. But as months, weeks, days passed, I still did not move my ass to do it.
And so F1 came.. and gone.
I watched the finals at home and fell asleep. 61 laps to me was too long and boring. 2 darn hours to looking at the fast cars zooming by, not even able to identify which car was which, who was who. So I surfed the net, did some reading, to understand more about what F1 was about.
And so I'm glad I didn't go for my virgin F1 race live.
The part about one must appreciate before attending _______ (fill in the blank - concert, race, game, etc etc) is true very true.
Otherwise, you are just going to end up like an idiot at the race, not knowing what happened nor the rules to truly enjoy the hours there.
So I've learned abit, and when I'm ready, I'll spend that amount of dollars, to enjoy my virgin race, at the Paddock Club... or wherever I think it's worth it!
