Goodbye, Yves Saint Laurent

YSL the recent name which I first associated with the bag with a horn handle, then the fuse bag, and then recently, the one with the flat tote bag with a big YSL logo in patent.

I never really know this designer, except that he's YSL, there's a boutique in Singapore, and that's it.

His death on 1 Jun 08 was saddening to the whole fashion world, and it also threw light to his contributions to how we women dress today.

Pant Suit
Liberating. It was also a men's attire, yet YSL was able to transform a man's attire into an elegant classy pant suit for women. I always feel that the power suit is not one in skirt, but the pant suit in black.

Structured Jacket
Needless to say. It smartens even the most untidy lass up!

The Safari Jacket
Yes! Timeless piece, especially during fall! It's so nice but it's a pity it's not too suitable for Singapore's weather. Nonetheless, it's smart to wear during colder seasons overseas!

And many more which I do not know...

Goodbye, YSL. Thanks for your revolutionary efforts!
