I've heard quite a bit of this nail parlour at Holland V.
After several attempts, finally managed to get an appointment with them at 7pm today.
Maybe because I've been doing nails so often that I've become so picky about good nail technicians and setting high standards. The staff are friendly and understanding but their 'technical' skill just doesn't seem to be there.
The pedicurist is quite experienced, and just as I thought she's up to mark, her nail art was disappointing.
And the manicurist was worse. She couldn't paint! I got even more nervous when I saw her hands tremble. We had to get another senior to paint for me, who claimed she is 'very particular' - turned out her painting skills isn't that good after all.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to be difficult. It's just that for lighter colours, when you don't paint them well, streaks are obvious. And they just get on my nerves especially when they are on your fingernails.
So I still fall back on my Nail Room @ Chip Bee.
If ever they quit, I've decided to just get them to come my place to paint for me. I'm happy to pay them the full price Nail Room has been charging. I'd have all the tools and what-nots, they just come with their skills.
So tt's a deal, Ardik, San San & Dulcia!
