The carpark that moves

Was at Club Street today for "Tie Tah" at Oriental Massage as I sprained my right ankle last Saturday.

And I had the opportunity to park at their automated carpark, where you park in their lift and they'd bring your car up to slot into those lots.

I know it's already in Japan, Korea and Germany. But being the first in Singapore, it's novelty indeed.

So for those who have yet to experience this first, let me give you an orientation.

Step One : Drive through the barricade.
The barrier will not lift up if the lift you are going into is busy.
Wait.

Step Two: Drive into the lift.
There's this sign that will guide you when to stop the car.
Drive slowly into it, not reverse into it.

Step Three: Off Engine and Hop Off!
Off the engine, pick up your stuff like you would in normal parking circumstances.

Step Four: Bye Bye Car...
Step out of the life. Key in your car plate number, press ENTER then START.
Your car's on its way to its lot!

And when you come pick up your car, just key in your carplate number, and wait inside the waiting room for it to be brought down. Just go to the lift and pick it up!

You no longer need to drive around to locate a lot, or drive up through those narrow levels and levels of driveways.

Fuss-free parking I had!
