.Parents.

Was at KFC last weekend.

And something caught our attention.

Someone 'hummed' loudly in the restaurant... and made some growling noise. It was very familiar to me. I had done my practice in Woodbridge Hospital before. I knew.. mental patients usually do that.

And so I looked up.

There he was. A teenage boy was eating his KFC with his parents. He was managing well, enjoying his food. As I looked on, I noticed there was another sibling of his, and at first I thought he was normal. But as he made some noise too, I realised he was just like his brother.

Suddenly, I had full of respect for the parents. In an Asian society like Singapore, such issue is viewed as 'shameful' and parents usually wouldn't want their 'shame' to be in public. But this pair of parents didn't. They beared the eyes of the public, brought their twin sons out for their meals, for them to enjoy the environment beyond their home.

This, I salute.
