Just 4 years ago after my last purchase of a more expensive watch, I'm now starting a new hobby after the purchase of the latest wrist watch from Chopard 3 weeks back. The pretty diamonds moving around in the dial simply makes my day each time I hear them. They sure live up to the name of HAPPY.
As I look at my watch, the love of the ticktock clock-on-wrist glows and grows in my heart. I've been thinking about buying another watch now... leather bands are what I prefer. I've realised while buying diamonds do not have much varieties, watches come in all forms and shapes, and defintely more subtle than wearing the rocks on your body and becomes OTT.
To me, a watch is an accessory more than a time-telling machine. (A mobile phone is good enough tell time!) I used to think otherwise.. until my recent purchase... My opinion now is everyone needs at least 3 watches. One for work in classic style with a date window, one for outdoors and sports, one for the evening dressy moments. And depends on your lifestyle, you may choose to add other watches for golf (yes, the Tag Heuer makes watches specially for golfers), for your constant change in mood and dressing style.
I'm now looking forward to my next purchase of a Patek Philippe...and pry diligently through the watch magazines at the Mama's.
